About

Abbie Gibson began riding and showing at the age of 8. After enjoying much success in the equitation ring as a junior she went on to ride for the Skidmore College Equestrian Team. During her time there she helped the team to place consistently in the top 3 at IHSA nationals as well as obtaining individual top 3 placings.

Abbie also spent her summers working for professional show jumping, eventing, and dressage riders in Europe. In Germany she worked under a qualified Pferdewirtschaftsmeister (International Level 3). In England She worked under an International Show Jumper who competed up to the 5-star level.

After graduating Abbie went on to be the assistant coach for the Savannah College of Art and Design’s Equestrian Team. There she helped coach the team to multiple national championships in the IHSA, ANRC, and Tournament of Champions. 

In 2019, Abbie moved to Pennsylvania where she started riding professionally as the assistant coach for a large R judge before starting her own business in 2020. 

Accolades

2021 Championship title at the American Quarter Horse Congress in the Green Working Hunter.

 2022 World championship title in the Level 2 Senior Working Hunter as well as top 3 placings in the Working Hunter Derby at Congress and Top 10 finishes as the NSBA World Show.

2023 championship title for as a second year in a row in the Level 2 Senior Working Hunter as well as the bronze championship title in the senior hunter hack.

Abbie also develops young warmbloods for Last Laugh Farm. Preparing them for sale and competition as hunters or jumpers.
